Pandapas Pond

Pandapas Pond is a pastoral, 8 acre pond located just outside the town of Blacksburg and contains a 17-mile trail system for hiking and biking.

Huckleberry Trail

The Huckleberry Trail is a 5.762 mile long asphalt-paved bike/pedestrian path running from the Blacksburg library to the New River Mall.

New River Trail

The New River Trail is a 57-mile rail-to-trail park that crosses through Grayson, Carroll, Wythe and Pulaski counties.

Claytor Lake State Park

Claytor Lake State Park is ideal for swimming, camping, hiking, picnicking, sport fishing and boating.

Appalachian Trail

The Appalachian Trail is the longest hiking-only footpath in the world, ranging from Georgia to Maine and passes through the New River Valley where some of the most photographed views on the trail reside.

Moss Arts Center

Lyric Theatre

The historic Lyric Theatre has operated a not-for-profit movie theatre and community center in the heart of downtown Blacksburg, Virginia since 1998.
