About FRAME

The goal of the Florida Reimbursement Assistance for Medical Education (FRAME) program is to encourage healthcare professionals to work in underserved areas of Florida by providing financial assistance to help repay their medical education loans. 

Eligible Practitioners

  • Physicians with primary care specialties, including psychiatrists
  • Physician Assistants (PA)
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)
  • Autonomous APRNs (AAPRN)
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
  • Registered Nurses (RN)
  • Licensed clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and psychologists
  • Dentists
  • Dental Hygienists

The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for first-year osteopathic medical students and signifies a commitment to the osteopathic profession and patient care. Immediate family can coat a student if they are a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and join them to help celebrate. It is a psychological contract that stresses the importance of compassionate care for the patient and professionalism and scientific proficiency. The ceremony symbolizes the trust between physician and patient, compassion, and the purity of the medical profession’s purpose.
