Financial Aid Coordinator

The candidate will serve as the primary on-campus contact for current and prospective students at the VCOM Louisiana Campus (VCOM LC).  The individual will deliver financial aid information to prospective students, primary contact for OMSI and OMSII students, process SAIG transmissions, review ISIR and financial aid application records, run packaging routines and distribute financial aid notifications and offers, and process loan records. The candidate must be capable of performing all basic day-to-day office operations. The individual will additionally process Cost of Attendance Appeals, including Dependent Care Expenses and Medical Expenses, perform R2T4 calculations.  Please review full position description.  

Salary Range:  $44,000 to 50,000

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Licensure or certification:  none required

Minimum experience: Two years of experience in a financially related position, preferably in Financial Aid at a comparable college or university.

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite. The individual will also work with various financial aid websites, such as ELMNet, NSLDS Online, Campus Nexus-Student, and COD Online.

Anatomical Sciences Faculty

To teach medical school students in Anatomy and Physiology across a two-year preclinical curriculum, conduct research/scholarly activities and provide service to the institution. Participate in the research program including organization, planning and writing grants to seek external funding for the program.  

Salary Range: 90,000 to 130,000.
