Deborah West, MA, currently serves as the Vice Provost for the Centers for Institutional, Faculty and Student Success at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). Previous to her employment at VCOM, she served for 15 years in the public education setting as a school counselor and school principal. She graduated from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education.  In 1997 she earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.  In 2008 she completed the Leadership Enhancement Program through Radford University and was licensed through the Virginia Department of Education with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision.  Most recently, she earned a Doctor of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
