In memory of Mike Bernardo, Class of 2010, the family and friends of this special student have chosen a scholarship based on service that is awarded to students who need assistance to reach out to an underserved population to provide free medical care. Mike Bernardo was serving on a Dominican medical mission when he lost his life, and he will be remembered for his commitment to serve those who were less fortunate. Mike’s preceptors described him as a student who had a gift for working with patients from all walks of life.
