VCOM Participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) – Virginia Campus was recently called upon by Virginia Commonwealth University and Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine to participate in the popular “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge,” and on Wednesday, August 20, students, faculty and staff from the college accepted the challenge with a video of their own. The purpose of the challenge is to increase public awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as "Lou Gehrig's disease." Participants and others at VCOM made donations in support of the ALS Association, and the video can be viewed at the official VCOM YouTube account. Check it out to find out who VCOM – Virginia has challenged to support this great cause!
