I want to help people because
Everybody has a calling or a service to pay in life. I believe research and medicine is my service and duty to the public. I want to help people because I get satisfaction from seeing other people happy and living long, healthy lives. If I can contribute to that, then I will help as much as I possibly can. One of my favorites quotes is “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. - Gandhi”.
The reason I chose VCOM-Auburn is
I chose VCOM-Auburn for a few reasons: 1) the supportive and familial environment, 2) the professors and osteopathic physicians on staff set a prime example and are committed to our education, and 3) VCOM-Auburn expressed genuine interest in me—VCOM-Auburn CHOSE ME!!!
I chose to go into medicine because
I chose to go into medicine because I love the idea of grasping the concepts and methods of basic science combined with clinical studies in order to fulfill the true meaning of “bench to bedside”.

The accomplishment that I am most proud of is that I am continuing to pursue my dream of becoming a physician-scientist despite all odds and setbacks.
