Teresa M. Kilgore, DO, FACOI
Dr. Kilgore is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed IM residency in 1990 and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Since January 1991, she practiced office and hospital based medicine for approximately ten years in Cheraw, SC.
She worked as a hospitalist at Bon Secours St Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC for 2 years and then the next 12 years as the Associated Medical Director of the Chest pain Center at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
In 2011, she began her current position at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine as the Clinical Chair of Internal Medicine. She enjoys this point in her career where she is able to balance the challenges of academic medicine, sharing over 25 years of practical clinical experience with our medical students, and giving back to her profession on a local level with service to the Columbia Free Medical Clinic, on a state level with the SCOMS, and on a national level with the AOA, ACOI and the NBOME.
