The award criteria that have to be met in order to be selected for this honor are the researcher must maintain an extramurally funded research program, proven scholarly output, successfully leverage REAP funding into extramural awards, and actively engage students in research programs.
Mental disorders affect one in four human beings. My laboratory is interested in identifying glutamate receptor-based treatment strategies for drug-resistant neurological and psychiatric disorders.
