VCOM’s Primary Care and Community Outreach Research Seminar was held on Thursday, September 10 on the Carolinas Campus in Spartanburg, with video conferencing to our Blacksburg, VA and Auburn, AL campuses. This event provided faculty and administrative leadership an understanding on community based research and focused on developing skills in community health and primary care research methods and design.
Our featured speaker was Dr. Kathleen Brady, Vice Chancellor for Planning, Institutional Research and Metropolitan Studies at University of South Carolina Upstate. She spoke on measurement methods for community health and primary care research.
